TUK Informatics Politala Holds Student Competency Test

Politala – Informatics Competency Test Place Politala in collaboration with LSP TIK Indonesia held a Competency Test for the Information Technology Study Program. Located at the Politala Informatics Engineering Building Laboratory, the activity will take place from June 22, 2021 to July 3, 2021.

This Competency Test was attended by 110 students of 6th semester IT Study Program and was divided into two stages, for the first stage, namely debriefing on 22-24 June 2021 for regular students and 25-26 June 2021 for cooperative class students. While the second stage is the implementation of online exams, on 28-29 June 2021 for regular students and 1-3 July 2021 for cooperative students.

This online test was chosen to prevent and break the spread of the Covid-19 virus. There are three schemes in this Competency Test, namely, Junior Web Developer (JWD), Junior Networking (JN) and Partical Office Advanced (POA) which were accessed by 12 assessors from TUK Informatika Politala and LSP TIK Indonesia.

Wiwik Kusrini, S.Kom., M.Cs as a Politala IT Study Program lecturer as well as Politala Informatics TUK Admin said that the Competency Test is one of the efforts to determine students’ abilities in their respective fields.

“Hopefully we can know the abilities of our students, so that they can be fully absorbed in the business world and the industrial world in Tanah Laut as well as in South Kalimantan in particular and in Indonesia in general,” said Wiwik.

The purpose of holding this Competency Test is so that students have competency certificates as a companion to diplomas, so that later graduates can more easily get jobs that are in accordance with their respective fields. Hms_Politala
