Commemoration of the Birthday of the Prophet Muhammad SAW 1443 H
Politala- In connection with the arrival of the month of Rabi’ul Awwal, the commemoration of the Birthday of the Prophet Muhammad SAW 1443 H at the Tanah Laut State Polytechnic (Politala) Thursday, October 14, 2021. The birthday commemoration event which was held in the Hall of the Politala Informatics Engineering Building with the theme “Through the Birthday Commemoration Prophet Muhammad SAW, Let’s Increase Our Love in carrying out the Sunnah”. Also invited by Mr. Zainul Abidin, S.Pd.I as a lecturer. He is the head of the Miftahul Ulum Islamic Boarding School (Ponpes) in Batumulya Village, Panyipatan, where the Islamic Boarding School is also one of Politala’s partners.
The event was attended directly by the Director, the Board of Trustees, lecturers and education staff of Politala as well as students from the Politala Islamic Study Forum (FSI).
Prior to the start of the main event, the FSI Politala Maulid Habsyi team was assigned to recite the habsyi maulid narrator and qashidah sholawat in this birthday commemoration event. After the recitation and qashidah are completed, enter the main agenda. The event began with the recitation of the holy verse of the Koran by a representative of FSI member Politala Hilmanadi Yahya.
Then entering the speeches session, the first speech was initiated by the Politala Trustees Board, Dr. Sihabuddin Chalid, M.M.Pd. The board of trustees expressed their gratitude that the Mawlid habsyi Politala team this year is the largest since the 12 years Politala was founded. Then he also expressed hope for the future, “hopefully in the future what we aspire to and activities run well including religious activities like this”, he said.
Director of Politala, Dr. Mufrida Zein, S.Ag., M.Pd in his speech emphasized the importance of commemorating the birthday of the Prophet SAW. “The commemoration of the Birthday of the Great Prophet Muhammad SAW is an extraordinary, important and historic event for Muslims. One way to show our love for the Great Prophet Muhammad SAW is to always remember his birthday,” he said.
The Director’s gratitude goes to Ust. Zainul Abidin, S, Pd.I who is willing to give a lecture. At the end of the speech, Dr. Mufrida also expressed hope, “Hopefully with the commemoration of the Birthday of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, we can absorb the values given in the life journey of the Prophet Muhammad SAW to build a religious, prosperous and knowledgeable society,” he concluded.
The core of the lecture delivered by Ust. Zainul Abidin, S.Pd.I is about the importance of knowledge accompanied by faith in Allah SWT. “There are two concepts in the Qur’an Surah al-Mujjadi verse 11, the first is faith and the second is knowledge that is useful and blessed, then Allah will raise him in rank,” said Ust. Zainul in his tausiah.
Ust. Zainul conveyed a hadith that revealed that the Prophet Muhammad was sent to perfect morals. “Akhlak is a combination of sharia and faith,” he explained.
